• User content: documents you upload (CVs, certifications, teaching materials) and job postings or applications you create.
• Device information: a push notification token to deliver notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To connect teachers with institutions through job postings and applications.
• To enable sharing of teaching materials and access to benefits.
• To send relevant notifications (e.g., new job matches, application updates).
• To maintain the security and proper functioning of the app.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage). We rely on industry-standard security measures provided by Google Cloud. You can review Google's privacy practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Certain profile information is shared within the app as part of its core function — for example, when a teacher applies to a job, the institution can view the teacher's professional profile, and vice versa. We may share data with service providers (such as Google Firebase) strictly to operate the app.

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, notifications)
• Google Sign-In (optional login method)
• Google Calendar (optional, to sync class meetings)

6. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your profile information from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at spcolonna@gmail.com from your registered email address, and we will process your request.

7. Children's Privacy

HeyTeacher! is intended for adult teachers and educational institutions. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
